When all adjustments are completed, restore the value to “10”.

From the Custom Paper Settings (IMSS function) menu, perform Auto Adjust Image
Position (for both sides) using the following paper.
•
Tray: Tray 2
•
Paper Type: Plain paper with Paper Weight 5 (Recommended: NBS180K)
•
Size: A3/DLT (Recommended: A3)
For details, refer to " Auto Image Registration ".

Input the adjustment value to SP1-143-201 (Slant Adjustment) in the following
procedure using the confirmation sheet printed out in Step 3.

The image shifts 0.1mm/277mm in main scan direction for every “11” input to SP1-
143-201, which its default is set to 500.

To shift the image toward the operator side, subtract an optimal value and enter a
value smaller than 500.

To shift the image toward the non-operator side, add an optimal value and enter a
value greater than 500.

SP1-143-201 is for fine-tuning. Input a value within the range 445~555 .
If the value input is very large or very small, the image will shift unexpectedly in
sub scan direction instead of main scan direction.
View the sheet from Side-2 and see through the sheet, to check if the registration at
the corners match between Side-1 and Side-2 match. Image on Side-2 shifts to match
with Side-1.
