4. Measure the color density (L*,a*,b*) of each patch, using the X-Rite
For Neon Pink : Use a* value
For Neon Yellow : Use b* value
For White : Use L* value
5. At the table below, in the “Measured Value” Column, enter the value measured in step
4.
6. Repeat step 4 and 5, for all patches from 0% to 100%
7. Click on the “Recommended Target” button, below the table.
8. Check the graph below the table, to confirm the adjustment result.
* If further adjustment is needed, enter the value +/- 2 of the original value, and repeat
step 7 and 8. To make it darker, enter “+2”, to make it lighter enter “-2”
9. Click on the “Save Tone Curve for EFI” and save the text file onto the computer.
10. Open up the Command Work Station, and click on the following buttons.
Image Viewer > Color Adjust > Edit Curve > Import Curve
11. Select the text file saved on the computer at Step 9.
