If the print quality is not acceptable even after performing the adjustment, refresh the toner
in the following method:

Symptom observed only in 1 color:
Print 30 copies of full-bleed solid 1C pattern of the affected color in duplex on A3/DLT.

Symptom observed in 2 colors:
Print 30 copies of full-bleed solid 2C pattern of the affected colors (C&Y or C&M or
M&Y etc.) in duplex on A3/DLT.

Symptom observed in 3 or 4 colors:
Print 30 copies of full-bleed solid 2C pattern of K&Y, then print another 30 copies of
full-bleed 2C pattern of C&M, both in duplex on A3/DLT.
Important note on replacing the PTR cleaning components
When replacing the lubricant or the lubricant
brush roller or the cleaning blade (all
prescribed as 600k cycle PM parts), always
replace all three parts as a set. (See
Appendix 1.)
