Throttle lever (2) for forward and reverse driving
This lever is used to control the speed controller and thus the drive function.
If the lever is in the middle position (neutral position) the vehicle must stop and must not move forward or backward.
The trim controller "TH.TRIM" (9) can be used to correct this if applicable.
If the lever is moved towards the direction of the transmitter handle slowly, the model must move forward. If the lever
is pushed forward (away from the handle), the model must be decelerated or switch to reverse driving. If the vehicle
reacts precisely opposite, the slider "TH.REV" (10) must be put in the respective other position.
If the lever is pushed from forward to reverse driving without a break (without leaving the lever in the middle
position/neutral position briefly), the brake function of the speed controller is activated. The vehicle does not
reverse.
If you leave the lever in the middle position briefly (approx. 1 second) and then push it towards reverse driv
-
ing (pushing the lever away from the handle), the vehicle will reverse.
Reverse driving is, of course, only possible if you have switched it on when programming the speed control-
ler.
Trim controller "ST.TRIM" (4) for the driving function
This trim controller can be used to correct the position of the front wheels. The vehicle must drive straight ahead when
the turning wheel (1) is in the middle position (neutral position).
Trim controller "ST.D/R" (5) for dual rate function of the steering
This trim controller can be used to set the maximum possible steering deflection if the turning wheel (1) is pushed to
the left or right to the stop.
This prevents the steering servo from running against the block. This means that the steering servo will try
to increase the steering deflection although the steering mechanics prevent a further turn. This will not only
cause unnecessarily high power consumption of the steering servo but also overload and thus damage to
the servo gear.
The dual rate function can also be used to control the vehicle better at higher speed. The steering deflection
will be less at the same turning angle of the turning wheel (1). The disadvantage is that the vehicle cannot
drive any narrow bend radii anymore.
If the trip controller is turned clockwise all the way to the right, the largest possible steering deflection for the steering
servo results.
The farther you turn the trim controller to the left counter-clockwise, the more will the steering deflection be limited.
If the trim controller is turned to the stop all the way to the left, the steering servo will no longer react to the
turning wheel. Of course, the vehicle can no longer be controlled like this.
Therefore, always observe the correct setting of the trim controller.
