Audit trails

Every time a file is saved by a user, their details are recorded in

Run Settings

under the

Messages

tab as Security Audit Trail Summary and Security Audit Trail Detail.

This can be used to monitor who has modified the contents of a file. The Security Audit Trail Detail
contains more detail, such as the unique identifier of the user. This identifier is important to avoid a
user creating an account with the same name on another computer and thereby impersonating
another user. In this case, the usernames will be the same, but the account IDs will be different.
