3000 EXPRESS

12-Volt  Accessory  Switch Panels
The main accessory switch panel is
located at the helm.  The circuit break-
ers that protect the accessories are lo-
cated in another panel on the helm be-
low the switches.

The following are descriptions of the
accessories controlled by the main ac-
cessory switch panel:

Port Ignition Switch
The port ignition switch is a red, three- position switch, located in the helm just below the gauges,
which activates the port engine.   The switch has an off, on and momentary start position.  To start
the engine, make sure the shift lever is in the neutral position and your hand is on the throttle lever
in the idle position.  Press the switch to the start position.  When the engine starts, release the
switch and it will automatically return to the run position.  Stop the engine by pressing the switch
to the off position.  It is protected by a breaker located in the helm breaker panel and a main
breaker located on the engine.

Starboard Ignition Switch
The starboard ignition switch is a red, three-position switch, located in the helm just below the
gauges, which activates the starboard engine.   The switch has an off, on and momentary start
position.  To start the engine, make sure the shift lever is in the neutral position and your hand
is on the throttle lever in the idle position.  Press the switch to the start position.  When the engine
starts, release the switch and it will automatically return to the run position.  Stop the engine by
pressing the switch to the off position.  It is protected by a breaker located in the helm breaker
panel and a main breaker located on the engine.

Horn
Activates the boat horn.

Anchor/Nav Lights
The switch is a three-position switch.  The middle position is “OFF.”  Moving the switch in
one direction will activate the navigation lights.  Moving  the switch in the opposite direction
activates the anchor light.

Engine Room Lights
Activates the lights that illuminate the engine room.
