14 Does the specific transmitter unit report any activity at
all?
(Tamper, Door Open etc?)
Yes
– Replace the
transmitter and send the
faulty unit to PTI Security
Systems for testing

– Proceed to Step 15
15 Does a different transmitter work in the same location?
Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage on
connector P1
pins 1 and 2
Yes
– Proceed to step

– Fix the repeaters
and retest
13 Does the battery in the transmitter read more than
2.6 VDC on a meter?
Yes
– Check the
magnet alignment and
retest

– Proceed to Step 14
