Setting the steering axle:
Only if the frame chassis does not trail aligned behind the
tractor when travelling straight ahead!
1. Loosen locknut at position (1)
2. Remove splint (2) and loosen nut at position (2)
at the start of the steering rod, directly behind the
tractor.
3. Pull steering rod up and away.
4. Turn the spindle (3) until the required steering axle
position is reached.
5. Re-fit ball joint
6. Re-insert splint at position (2) and re-tighten nut at
positions (2, 1).

Adjust the path of the tyres (only for
controlled chassis)
Adjust the path of the left and right tyres at the back of
the steering rod.
1. Unscrew the locknuts (1, 2) (left-hand and right-hand
thread)
2. Turn the tie bar (3) until the toe-in is set correctly.
3. Lock the bar with the nuts (1, 2).
- Set the toe-in to maximum 5mm. This means the distance
of the tyre's front edge must be 5 mm less than the
distance of the tyre's rear edge. (in direction of travel)
- The distance of the tie bar heads for the left and right
tie bars must be the same.
