Driving on public roads
• Observe the statutory regulations for your country.
• Driving on public roads may only be carried out as
described in chapter “Transport position”.
• Safety devices must be in proper condition.
• Before driving off, bring swivelling parts to correct
position and secure against dangerous position changes.
• Check that the lighting functions before driving off.

Put the protective strips (1) onto the tines
before lifting the rotor arms into transport
position.
Tine cover
In some countries it is stipulated that the tines on the rotors
are covered while driving on public roads.
Pöttinger has such tine covers in its range. So that you
do not lose these covers in the field and always have
them with you, the TOP centre rakes are equipped with
a construction in the front area of the machine on which
they can be threaded.

1. Attach the tine covers according to the diagram below.
2. Secure the covers in position with one cotter each (1).
