Error Messages
ERROR MESSAGE MEANING / ACTION
Enter ‘Y’ Only Only ‘Y’ is allowed in the ‘Start’ field.
GP Not Current The GP code entered in the ‘GP Partnership’ field is for a
GP who is not a member of a GP Partnership, i.e. the GP
has been cancelled.
GP/Pship missing A GP’s Local Code must be entered in either the ‘GP
Partnership’ field or the ‘GP Local Code’ field.
GP Single Handed A code for a Single-handed GP has been entered in the
‘GP Partnership’ field. Enter a code for a GP Partnership.
Invalid GP Code The GP Partnership or the GP Local Code field must
contain the correct code of a GP, i.e. one which can be
verified on the GD screen.
Invalid Output Enter ‘M’ for MRE Labels or ‘G’ for GP’s List in the
‘Output Required’ field.
Invalid Sequence A valid sequence must be entered in the ‘Output
Sequence’ field. Enter:
•
‘N’ – for NHS Number
•
‘D’ – for Patient Date of Birth
•
‘G’ – for Patient Gender
•
‘S’ – for Patient Surname.
OUTPUT Missing
Either ‘G’ for GP’s List or ‘M’ for MRE Labels must be
entered in the ‘Output Required’ field.
SELECT either You must put an entry in either the ‘Partnership’ field or
the ‘GP Local Code’ field, not both.
SEQUENCE Missing Enter ‘N’, ‘D’, ‘G’ or ‘S’ in the ‘Output Sequence’ field.
START Missing
Enter ‘Y’ in the ‘Start’ field.
