Command Line File for One Specific Station
This command line file is specific to one station. The file must be named correctly and placed into the
correct folder. If the station were called TestStation, the path must be
\Sutron\XLink\TestStation\TestStation_script.txt
Command Line Script for All Stations
This command line script will affect every station that the USB drive is plugged into. The file must be
named correctly and placed into the correct folder.
\Sutron\XLink\AllStations_script.txt
Any output generated by the command line file will be placed into the output directory that includes the
current time.
Here is an example of a file that calibrates measurement M3 to zero, turns on switched power SW2, and
sends transmission TX4
M3 = 0
POWER SW2 ON
TX4 TXNOW
This example file downloads all data to the USB drive:
LOG ALL
Please note that this is NOT for Python scripts. This is for command line operations.

Copying files from SD Card to USB Thumb Drive
To copy all files from the SD card to the USB drive, please do the following:
Create file on USB drive: \Sutron\XLink \AllStations_script.txt
Put the following line into the file: FILE COPY SD USB
Insert USB drive into XLink
If you are just interested in the log files that are on the SD card, LinkComm has an option to automatically
transfer them to the USB Drive without the need for a file. See LinkComm’s Other
Setup tab, External
Storage section.

The system supports micro SDHC cards with FAT32. Having a card in the system provides the following
features:
Automatic Log Backup
File transmissions (requires Python scripts)
File system and storage for Python scripts
