The setup makes hourly GOES transmissions
Each GOES transmission has 2 hours worth of 15-minute data (8 data points)
The setup also does Iridium transmissions every 30 minutes
Every Iridium transmission has 30 minutes worth of 5-minute data (6 data points)
M1 Interval = 00:05:00
TX1 Satellite Type = GOES 300
TX1 Scheduled Interval = 01:00:00
M1 Tx Data Content1 = Individual
M1 Tx Data Interval1 = 00:15:00
M1 Tx Data Duration1 = 02:00:00
TX2 Radio Type = Iridium
TX2 Scheduled Interval = 00:30:00
M1 Tx Data Content2 = Individual
M1 Tx Data Interval2 = 00:05:00
M1 Tx Data Duration2 = 00:30:00
The
Tx Data Duration
setting was added in version 8.21.

Measurement Setup Defaults
To change the setup of a single measurement to its defaults, type M1 SETUP DEFAULT on the command
line to reset measurement one. This will affect only one measurement.
10.10
Measurement Calibration
There is an easy way to change the current reading of any measurement: press the Calibrate button on
the Measurements tab in LinkComm and enter the desired reading.
Via command line, type M1=10.5 to set the reading of measurement one to 10.5
This calibration procedure has the effect of modifying the measurement’s O
ffset
.
When a sensor is calibrated, the system will log several events:
M2 = 30.5
Measurement M2 STAGE set to 30.5
08/20/2019,15:26:36,Calibration Meas,2,,G
08/20/2019,15:26:30,Cal before STAGE,15.0,,G
08/20/2019,15:26:36,Cal after STAGE,30.5,,G
Please note that prior to version 8.28, the system logged measurement readings (rather than events). This
resulted in the transmission of calibrated values if Tx Data Content was set to Last. Additionally, prior to
8.28, calibration could trigger alarms. That is no longer the case.
