Identify the Midplane Fabric Card Connectors

1. Identify the prerequisite and subsequent tasks you must perform in

conjunction with this procedure, to install the switch.

See the table in

“Installation Sequence” on page 20

2. Observe the rear side of the midplane.

The rear side of the midplane has an 9x9 matrix of XBOW connectors that interface
with the fabric cards and fabric card fillers.

3. Identify the connector numbers.

A unique connector number is located above each connector. For example, the
upper-left connector number is FC08. The lower-right connector number is FC80.
The connector number is decoded as FC
