SYSTEM MENU

Software Update Menu

The

Software Update

menu displays the current version of the Omnia.7 processing software and the GUI software.

Software downloads are available from the Omnia website and can be downloaded to an external USB drive for
local installation, or can downloaded to a Windows PC running NfRemote software for remote installation.

Selecting

Update Software

button will prompt the Omnia.7 to search the USB drive for the appropriate

software and begin the installation process. Updating software WILL take Omnia.7 off the air, so be sure to
switch to your backup processor before beginning the update.

If you are using the Omnia.7 NfRemote software, you will also find an option to

Upload Software

there, a

handy feature that allows you to update software remotely without making a trip to the transmitter site if
your Omnia.7 is not located at the studio.

The

Save Configuration to USB

feature allows you to back up your current configuration – including input

and output settings, levels, audio routing, display presets, calibrated speaker presets, and processing
presets. Beyond its usefulness as a backup utility, this is also a great way to carry over and duplicate your
custom settings on another Omnia.7.
