Image Creation
Mirror Image (Making Copies as a Mirror Image)
This mode makes copies of the mirror image of an original. There are three
types of Mirror Image functions.

Mirror Symmetry: The original image is copied as a mirror image.

Top Symmetry : The image is flipped up with the top edge of the
original as the axis. The true image and the
flipped image are both then copied onto a single
sheet.

Bottom Symmetry : The image is flipped down with the bottom edge
of the original as the axis. The true image and the
flipped image are both then copied onto a single
sheet.

the Basic Operations Manual.

If the copier is not equipped with the ED board,
only “Mirror Symmetry” can be selected.
1.
Press the key. P
If the key C is pressed, the screen returns to
the standard display.

Press the MIRROR IMAGE key. P
If the C key is pressed, the screen returns to
the display in step 1.

Select the Mirror Image type. P
Other Image Creation modes can also be set.

Press the OK key.

Press the OK key.
The Image Creation setting process is complete.
MIRROR IMAGE is displayed.
The copier is now ready to make copies.
P A small white gap will appear between the true
image and the flipped image.

Top Symmetry (Bottom Symmetry) is effective
when there is an image in the top half (bottom half
for Bottom Symmetry) of the original. An image in
the bottom half (top half for Bottom Symmetry)
cannot be copied.

When an area is designated, the image will be
cut off if the area covers more than half of the
paper.
