Character Composition (Combining Characters from a Black-and-White Original with a Color Original)

Set the Text Editing.

There are four types of editing that can be used:

Color For Text (adding color to text) (see p. 2-10)

Contour (using only the contours of the text in the combined image)
(see p. 2-12)

Image & Shadow (adding shadows to the text) (see p. 2-14)

Shadow Only (using only the shadows of the text in the combined
image) (see p. 2-14)

Press the OK key.

Make any of the following three adjustments if
necessary:

If none of the following adjustments are to be made, proceed to step 7.

Adjusting the Mixing Ratio.

Designate the area and perform scanning.

Adjusting the scan setting.

Adjusting the mixing ratio

1. Press the
