(BANK SELECT MSB = value of Control Change 8 and Bank Select LSB value of
Control Change 32) in a range OFF - 0 - 127. These messages can be used to change the
bank of sounds selected on the connected expander or on the sound board installed, if any
(refer to the service manual for information about the type and value of the Bank Select
message recognized by your expander/board).
The bank value must be sent before the Program Change value and they are combined,
meaning that they are sent (even during editing) coupled together if one of the two values
is different from OFF.
So use the relative key [F4] or [F5], and the cursor location devices, to selected the
desired field, BANK M or BANK L. Then enter the values using the Data Entry devices,
forcing them into the preset range.
The last field which can be selected is that relating to the "PRG" field, meaning definition of
the Program Change to be sent associated to the zone.
When the function key [F6] is pressed, or the field is selected using the cursor location
devices followed by [ENTER], the display will be updated as shown below:
As can be seen, when the "PRG" field is selected the name of the Program Change
present, on the basis of the PG table selected previously, appears in the field for data
display.
Also note that the name of the Program Change only appears when the "PRG" field is
selected.
If the value of “TABLE” was previously OFF, the display field is not activated.
When the Program Change number is modified, the name attributed to it (on the basis of
the selected Table) will be updated in real time in the "PRG" field.
The possible values for the "PRG" field are OFF (value not sent and name display field
blank) and from 0 to 127. These values can be entered with the Encoder, the [INC] / [DEC]
keys or the numeric keypad, following the rule for rewriting the value on the display (after
the value has flashed) and confirming with [ENTER].
