Naturally, it is not possible to assign a number higher than the maximum limit to the
minimum limit of the range, or vice-versa.
The extreme case is where the two values are identical: with this setting, the slider, set at
the maximum or minimum, is no longer able to vary the control assigned to it and keeps it
at the preset value.
7.5.4. Pedals Range
Selecting the "
PEDALS RNG
" field or pressing the corresponding key [F3] from the
"System Control" video page gives access to the page where a range can be assigned to
each pedal.
The display will appear as shown below:
This video page is similar in all respects to the Slider Range page illustrated in the
previous point, with the only difference that here the range of the 4 pedals is set instead of
that of the 4 sliders, so the modification procedures are identical to those described in the
previous point (7.5.3).
7.5.5.
System Pedals
The last field which appears in the System Controls video page is called "
SYSTEM PED
"
and is dedicated to the settings relating to the two system pedals (pedal 1 and pedal 2).
In addition to the possibility of assignment at the zone and patch level, these two pedals
can also assume a system control, meaning that they can be assigned a function which
will be common to all active zones and all system patches; this is especially useful for
some controls which are generally common, such as the general Sustain or Volume.
When this utility is selected, the video screen which appears will be:
