Once the port has been selected using the cursor keys and [ENTER] or the relative
function keys, the name assigned to the port appears in the right of the display; this can be
modified by pressing [F6] (“change”). When this key is pressed, the display will appear as
follows:
The procedure for assigning the name is identical to that described in section 4 of this
manual. Here again, the "
done " icon, associated to key [F6], confirms the modification
mad and returns to the previous video page, where the new name assigned to it will
appear alongside the port. Note that the procedure described above is automatically
memorized; to abort the modification, press the [ESC] key instead of the "done" function
key.
7.4.3. Program Change Tables
Pressing the [F2] function key, or selecting the PRG TABLES option in the usual way from
the "Edit Tables" page, gives access to the Program Change Tables page where the user
can selected each of the 32 preset tables or set and select up to 16 user tables.

Table is a pre-defined list of 127 Program Changes, with the names of the presets they
will recall on the connected expander associated to them. The MC 2000 offers the user 32
preset tables containing the names of the timbres of the sound generators most widely
found on the market, and of the internal sound boards supported.
Not all the expanders, synths or sound generators of any kind which can be connected to
the MC 2000 can be identified in these tables. This is why 16 User tables, i.e. tables which
can be fully programmed by the user, are available as well as the 32 preset tables P1 ...
P32. This allows construction of a specific table for each of the sound modules available to
you.
