In this section, the display will show 3 subsections: IN STATUS, FILTER and MIDI PRGM
MAP (MIDI Program Map), which can be selected with keys [F1], [F2] and [F3]
respectively or with the Encoder and the cursor keys, confirming with [ENTER].
7.2.2. IN Status
The subsection is dedicated to selection of the reception mode and the incoming MIDI
channels recognized by the instrument. To modify these parameters, the parameter to be
modified must be selected using the cursor keys or with [F1], [F2] and [F3], and the value
is then updated using the Encoder or the [INC] and [DEC] keys. The parameters relate to:
•
IN PORT : the number of the input port recognized as specific port for the control
channel ( IN1, IN2 ).
•
STATUS : when this is set on " SYS " the incoming messages control the functions of the
Master Keyboard; if this case is set on " SND ", the messages passing through the
selected port will only control any internal sound board installed in the instrument. If the
field is set at "
OFF ", the port is disabled.
•
CHANNEL : the number of the MIDI channel recognized as control channel ( 1-16 ),
provided it is received by the port specified previously. However, if the status of the port
is SND, this field does not appear because, as the port is dedicated to the internal
sound board, it must receive on all the incoming MIDI channels.
It is also possible to activate both ports as system ports (SYS), each with its control
channel, or to activate them both as input ports for the sound board (SND), or lastly, to
deactivate them both (OFF).
