10. MULTIPLEXER’S OPERATION FROM THE LEVEL OF IR REMOTE CONTROL
The range of the remote control depends on the batteries condition and oscillates from few to several
meters.
You can control up to 9 multiplexer with one remote control under the condition that each multiplexer
has a unique ID. To assign an ID to the multiplexer press
STOP
on multiplexer’s front panel and
holding it press a numeric button (i.e. 1). Both buttons should be pressed for about 3 seconds and after
that this multiplexer’s ID is 1. The message stating that the ID has been assigned appears on the
screen., i.e.:
If you need to change the ID number do exactly the same changing numeric button.
The buttons on a remote control are logically grouped depending on their functions.
