MULTIPLEXER’S MENU
3.7.8 Keypad Setup
Parameters connected with the cooperation of the multiplexer and system keyboard are set in this
menu.
NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 multiplexers can be remotely controlled only from the level of the
NV-KBD60 or NV-KBD30 system keyboards. Due to the use of RS-422 interface, remote control
room can be placed even up to 1200 meters from the multiplexer.
•
Unit ID -
unique multiplexer’s address within a given system allowing proper cooperation with
a keyboard.
•
Unit Baud Rate
option allows users to adjust the transmission speed in the range from 1200BPS
to 38400BPS
•
Select Terminal
option allows users to select one out of two ports over which the transmission
will be carried out. If NV-KBD60 or NV-KBD30 keyboards are used
RS-422
port should be
selected.
Notice: It is possible to select the RS-485 port in case it is not used for camera control.
