Sensitivity
test activity grid is displayed on the screen.
Active areas are highlighted in green. Areas where at the set rate of sensitivity motion has been
detected turn their color to blue. At the bottom there is a slider which allows you to adjust sensitivity.
By means of
JOG
dial (or up and down cursors) you can adjust the sensitivity level according to your
own needs from 1 to 30. the higher the value the more sensitive the motion detection. Changes are
implemented straightaway what helps to match sensitivity level for a specific camera.
After selecting
Sensing speed
test activity grid, similarly as with adjusting sensitivity, appears on the
screen. It is possible to choose one out of ten object speed levels. The higher the level the faster the
object has to move to be detected. This function prevents from false alarms caused by lighting change
(cloudiness).
3.2.4 Time Estimation
After entering
Time Estimation
menu information about estimated recording time based on the current
settings is displayed on the screen. Value is estimated for worst case of recording settings, meaning as
well continuous recording and event recording are considered as continuous recording. In case of
setting both recording modes: event and continuous the bigger frame rate number is taken to
calculation. That's why real recording time should be longer than estimated.
