Additionally, at the bottom, there two system events that may start the alarm or alarm output. These
are:

Network Failed
♦
HDD Failed
Additionally, the following window appears on the screen:

In the
Alarm Off
position users define how the alarms detected by the device should be
confirmed.
Manual
means that the alarm will last until a user cancels by pressing
AR RESET
button on the
front panel
Selecting
Auto
means that the alarm will lest for the whole, specified in seconds, period of time.
After this period the multiplexer will automatically return to the normal mode.
Additionally, in the
Alarm Off
position users define relay output type. From the drop-down list
you can select
N/C
(normally closed output) or
N/O
(normally open output)
Attention: Alarm inputs are connected with the camera inputs in this way that stimulation of input
No1 causes alarm recording from camera No1.
Attention: Alarm functions are active if in a given moment alarm recording is set to active in the
recording setup menu.
3.3.3 Alarm Buzzer
In
Alarm Buzzer
submenu there is buzzer settings. When item
Buzzer Enable
is ticked there is audible
alarm while event occurrence (motion, system event etc.). Position
Clear Time
defines the time of
activating of audible alarm, no matter how long does event last.
Notice: In order to activate alarm buzzer for event, there must be additionally done an assignment of
this particular event to the one of the fourth alarm outputs.
