MULTIPLEXER’S MENU
3.7.7 Configuration Setup
The device allows users to save menu settings so that it is possible to restore or to use them as default
settings in another device of the same type. The settings are copied in the form of a catalogue onto a
memory carrier connected to the USB port. The size of a catalogue with the settings is approximately
50kB. It can be stored on the computer and used at any moment.

In the
Item Selection
field users choose the type of settings we want to copy. Selecting
All
means
that all the settings from the list will be copied.

After selecting
Backup to USB
the settings will be copied onto a memory carrier connected to
USB port. The information about the operation processing is displayed at the bottom of the
window. In case there are some problems with the carrier appropriate information windows are
displayed.

After selecting
Restore from USB
the system will download the settings from the carrier that is
currently connected to the USB port. The information about the operation processing is displayed
at the bottom of the window. In case there are some problems with the carrier appropriate
information windows are displayed.
•
Factory Default
option allows users to restore default multiplexer’s settings.
