3.7.6.3 Password
In this submenu user accounts are modified and added (their passwords and privileges).
Selecting
Use Password
means that user identification is required during operation the device.
Selecting this item for the firs time master 8 digit password is generated once. Remember this password
or save in a secret place. This password allows to enter to the menu even if user password is forgotten.
Attention: Do not tick User Password unless you input your own (new) admin password.
Factory default password is:
1234

In the
Administrator
field you can change admin password. Admin is a user with full privileges.
The input password has to be confirmed. The password is input by means of numeric buttons. It
has to contain at least four digits.

Below the
Administrator
field there is a list of user accounts with their privileges.
In the example on page 47 you can see that there are two registered users:
Op_1
has access to multiplexer’s menu,
and
Op_2
has access to multiplexer’s menu, has the privilege of PTZ camera control
Additional privileges that can be granted:
REC
– starting and stopping recording
PB
– recording playback
