MULTIPLEXER’S MENU
3.1.3 Pan/Tilt Model
After entering this submenu setting edition window concerning telemetry protocols is displayed on the
screen. In order to assure a proper multiplexer cooperation with PTZ cameras, the settings should be in
accordance with the settings in the cameras. In case there are no PTZ cameras in the system, there is
no need to make any changes in this submenu.

In the drop-down
Select Model
menu you select PTZ camera control protocol.

In the drop-down
Baud Rate
menu you select transmission speed.
•
In the drop-down
Select Terminal
menu you select telemetry port, where PTZ commands are
transmitted. There are two ports to choose from:
RS-422
and
RS-485.
Both ports are connected
with the input screw terminal. In most cases the PTZ camera control should be done via
RS-485
port.
•
Delete
is used for deleting a given protocol from the list. After accepting this operation the
protocol is not longer available for this device.

Add
button is used for loading a new protocol vie USB port or network. If you want to
familiarize yourself with the details of this operation and available protocols contact your
supplier.
