MULTIPLEXER’S MENU
3.5 Audio Setup
NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 multiplexers allow users to record 4 audio
channels at all image recording speeds. The signal is recorded at the speed of 8kB/s.
Input signal should come from a dynamic microphone (i.e. microphone installed
in a camera).
Recorded audio playback is possible only at normal image playback speed after
selecting a proper video channel (the sound is not played back with slowed down
playback and fast forward modes).
After entering
Audio Setup
the following parameters are defined:
•
Bypass
- selection of audio channel that will be transferred to audio output during live audio
recording.
•
Related Video Channel
- this parameter specifies channel number with which the sound will be
connected. The connection is logical in character. It means that audio signal may come from
some other camera microphone or from a completely separate microphone. Connection to a
channel results only in the fact that sound will be heard during full screen playback of a given
channel.
