Connecting the Terminals to the ULU
The ULU contains four U interfaces. One U interface is a two-wire interface, where both
wires are interchangeable.
Any equipment with an U interface e.g. telephones, repeaters etc., can be connected and
operated from this U interface. In situations where you need a U interface for long distances
to the terminal equipment or where BRA interfaces are required, we recommend you to
use a PT-US.
