Connecting the Interfaces
This chapter describes how the respective interfaces of the NovaTec
Mobile Gateway S20
must be wired and connected together with activities requiring particular care and attention.
4.12.1
Connection of ISDN Terminal Equipment to the BRA
Interface
Up to two items of terminal equipment can be connected to every NovaTec
Mobile Gateway
S20 (as a PABX) BRA interface. The interface consists of 4 wires that must not be inter-
changed. The maximum length of these wires is approximately 220 m. The end of the line that is
not connected to the NovaTec
Mobile Gateway S20 must be terminated with 2 x 100 ohm. The
following illustration shows the wiring and corresponding limiting values in this context.
