5.1.8.1
Diagnostics and Status Indications
The Illustration shows the Front view of the SXU. The Numbers on the Sim Card holders
represent the Channel affiliation and the SIM Card holder number. Therefore (1;3)
represents Channel 1 and Sim Card holder number 3. The Letters mark the Light diodes.
The table (Picture 29) gives the allocation of the light emitting diodes (LED’s) in
correspondance to the SIM Card holders
5.1.8.2
Diagnostics and Status Indications during the start-up phase
During the start-up phase of the SXU the 4 LED’s (A, B, C, D), which would in normal
operation be designated for the SIM card holders, are used for status information. The
status-LED is now used for the systemcondition.
5.1.8.3
Alarm error messages during the start-up phase
If an error arises during the start-up phase of the SXU, the 4 LED’s (A, B, C, D) will be
used to show the error. The Status-LED will be used to show the system condition.
5.1.8.4
Status Indication in normal operation
In normal operation the Status-LED will flash. If a Sim Cardholder is in use, the
appropriate assigned LED will light. All other LED’s are off.
The forgoing table shows the allocation of the LED’s to SIM Cardholders.

Status Indications during normal operation
When the Sim Card is inserted and the Card is in operation
LED slow flashing
When the Sim Card is not inserted or the budget is expired
LED fast flashing
When no Sim Card is inserted
LED not lit
When the Sim Card is inserted but not selected
LED permanently lit
