Status displays of the BCU
The LEDs show the status of the BCU in two stages. The first stage is after the power on reset
of the system or after sliding the BCU into the back plane. The CPU starts an Power-On
Diagnstic with several Steps (see Picture 45). If a fault happen, the CPU stops and shows the
Error Message on the Front with the LED’s. (Ready LED flashes with 0,5 s on/off). After 3
Sekonds the CPU starts again. If the Power-On Diagnistic passes, the BCU loads the
configuration from the system and switch into the operating mode. The second stage is after the
download of the configration into the module. For both stages the following status is reported:
