Upgrading Your Server 9-55

Redundant Hot Swap-fan

Your server can include four optional redundant hot-swap fans.

Installation

See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" described earlier to prepare.

Pull out the server from the rack.

Open the drive cover.

Locate the installation slot.

Insert the hot-swap fan into the slot with its labeled side facing rear of the server until it
locks.
