Remove the shock absorber rod with

the pumping member unit from the cas-

ing after having completely unscrewed

the lock nut at its end.

•

Unscrew the nut (6) securing the cali-

bration unit and remove all compo-

nents. Carry out the necessary checks

and/or replacement, proceed with the

refitting in the following order:

- cap (7);

- blades pack (8);

- pin (9);

- piston (10);

- Retainer nut (6).

WHILE REMOVING THE GASKET UNIT,

TAKE NOTE OF THE POSITION OF THE BLADES (8)

TIGHTENING THE SHOCK ABSORBER

ROD IN VICE WITHOUT USING SPECIFIC SUPPORTS CAN
CRUSH IT, BEING INSIDE THE SLOT.

The disassembly procedure is identical to the one

of the "COMPRESSION" shock absorber with the

only difference in the components of the pumping

member unit fixed on the shock absorber rod,

which are:

- pos. 11, counter spring;

- pos. 12, piston;

- pos. 13, ring for piston;

- pos. 14 RH pin

- pos. 15, calibration blades;

- pos. 16, retainer nut.
