Fuel filter

•

Remove the front saddle.

Remove the electrical fuel pump.

Remove the clamps and the fuel filter.

Injection

Removing the injector

With the injector is activated the control of the

quantity of fuel introduced into the engine. It is a

"all or nothing" device in the sense that it can only

remain two stable states: open or closed.

The injector consists of a body and a pin integral

with the magnetic stirring rod.

The pin is pressed on the sealing seat by a helical

spring whose load is determined by an adjustable

spring pressure.

In the rear part of the body is the winding, in the

front part is the nib of the injector (sealing seat and

pin guide).

The control pulses established by the electronic

control unit create a magnetic field that attracts the

stirring rod and determines the opening of the in-

jector.

This time is determined by the control unit depend-

ing on the conditions of use of the engine, the fuel

metering is realized in this way.

Finally, from the hydraulic point of view, compres-

sion of the fuel of 3 +/- 0.2 bar, the jet shatters
