If the desired Bluetooth
®
device is not in the list,
you must update the list.
X Turn 3 the controller to select

The audio system searches for Bluetooth

devices within range. This procedure may
take some time. Once the search is comple-
ted, the audio system updates the device list.
X To authorise a Bluetooth
®
device (regis-
tering): turn 3 the controller to select a
device which has not yet been authorised in
the Bluetooth
®
device list.
X Press
V
the controller.
The Bluetooth ® functions menu for the selec-
ted device appears.

Turn 3 the controller to select
Authorise
.
X Press

the controller.
An enquiry dialogue appears asking you if you
are sure that you want to authorise the
device.
X Select
Yes
using

the controller.
The dialogue for entering a passkey appears.

Use the audio system number keypad to enter
a number with that can be easily memorised,
e.g. 1111.

Turn

the controller to confirm OK .
A request for the passkey to be entered
appears in the Bluetooth
®
device.

Enter the same passkey on the Bluetooth
®
device as on the audio system and confirm.
Radio/navigation system: the Bluetooth
®
device is authorised and immediately connec-
ted.
CD radio: the Bluetooth
®
device is authorised.
After the Bluetooth
®
device has been suc-
cessfully authorised, it also needs to be con-
nected.
Connecting a device to the CD radio:
X In the telephone or audio devices list, use
3 the controller to select the desired
device.
X Press
V
the controller.
X
Turn 3 the controller to select Connect .
X Press
V
the controller.
An enquiry dialogue appears, asking you if you
are sure that you want to connect the device.
X Select
Yes

Your Bluetooth
®
device is now connected and
operational via the audio system and opera-
tional with it.

WARNING
Operating the integrated information systems
and communications equipment in the vehicle
while driving will distract you from traffic con-
ditions. You could then lose control of the
vehicle. There is a risk of an accident.
Only operate these devices if road traffic con-
ditions permit. If you are unsure about the
surrounding conditions, pull over to a safe
location and make entries only while the vehi-
cle is stationary.
The navigation system calculates the route to
the destination without taking into account, for
example:

traffic lights
R
stop signs and right-of-way signs
R
parking and stopping restrictions
R
lane narrowings
R
other road and traffic controls and regulations
You must observe the legal requirements for the
country in which you are currently driving when
operating the system.
The driver is responsible for the safety of the
vehicle at all times.
General note
Navigation is available for the radio/navigation
system.
Switching on navigation mode
