You can operate the level control when the vehi-
cle is stationary or when the vehicle is in motion
up to approximately 30 km/h.
Depending on your vehicle's equipment, you
control the function of the level control system
using:

Apply the parking brake.

Switch the ignition lock to the drive position.
The level control automatically adjusts the
chassis frame to the previously stored height.

If the reservoir pressure in the compressed-
air system is too low, leave the engine run-
ning.
The compressed-air system is charged.

Take the control panel out of the holder.

Control panel on the driver's seat: briefly

External control panel on the vehicle body:

button for approximately
2 seconds.
i You can activate/deactivate the external
control panel on the vehicle body even if the
vehicle key has been removed.
Deactivating the control panel
X External control panel on the vehicle body:

button again for approximately
2 seconds.

X External control panel on the vehicle body and
on the outside of the driver's seat: wait
approximately 60 seconds; do not press the
button.
or
X
Drive at a speed above approximately
30 km/h.
The control panel is automatically deactiva-
ted.
