Alarm limits for non-invasive ventilation

In an effort to prevent false alarms, to reduce the stress level for the ventilated

patient due to alarm sounds and to maintain reliable monitoring, the alarm limits

need to be adapted to the patient’s individual situation.

For the alarms listed below, a delay can be defined, which should take the clinical

situation into account. This will cause a delay of the audible and visual alarms:
