Password character
Tap on the arrow to the right of the field to display a drop down list of options for setting the
format to be used for user passwords.
Selecting the “0-9” option means that users will need to enter a numeric password that contains
numbers only. The password must contain at least one number and can be up to five numbers
long. The pop-up numeric keypad screen will be displayed to the user when adding or editing
the password.
Selecting the “0-9, a-z, A-Z” option means that the user can enter an alphanumeric password
that can contain both characters and numbers. The password must contain at least one but can
be up to eight characters/numbers long. The pop-up keyboard screen will be displayed to the
user when adding or editing the password.
PVS Setup
Purpose
The PVS Setup screen is displayed by tapping on the PVS icon in the
System Settings
screen.
The screen is used to set up the PV test routine that is to be used for all products, including how the
test is to be carried out and whether tests are automatically started based on an event or manually
started as required by the operator.
Screen Contents
The screen contains the following options and settings:

Test type
Tap on the arrow to the right of the field to display a drop down list of options for setting the test
type to be used.

Normal
Selecting this option enables the normal test process. The size of the Fe (Ferrite), Nfe
(Non-Ferrite) and S.St (Stainless Steel) test wands being used must first be entered into
the fields provided in the
Product Settings
screen, which are displayed after enabling the
PVS option.
When the PV test starts the user will be prompted to pass the Fe test wand type through
the detector where it will be inspected to confirm that the metal contaminant in the test
wand can be detected. If it cannot then a warning message will be displayed and a larger
metal contaminant may need to be used.
