Setting Connection preferences

Setting Connection preferences

The Connection Preferences screen lists all of the predefined connection configurations. If you
have created any new configurations, they are also listed here.

To select a connection

1.

Tap

to view the Applications screen.

2.

Tap

to display the last PDA Preferences screen you used.

3.

Tap the pick list in the upper-right corner and select

Connection

.

4.

Tap (highlight) one of the available connections to select it.

To add a connection

1.

Tap

New

from the Connection Preferences screen.

The Edit Connection screen appears.

2.

Enter a name for your new connection in the Name field.

3.

Tap

beside each field and make your selection from the pick list.

Connection to

Select PC, Modem, or Local Network.

Via

Select Cradle/Cable, Infrared, Serial, USB HotSync,
or Wireless.

Dialing

Select TouchTone or Rotary.

Volume

Select high, medium, low, or off.
