Kyocera 7135 Smartphone Reference Guide

Chapter 8

Memos

The Memos application provides a place to quickly jot down information. You can assign
categories to these memos, beam them to other devices with infrared ports, and synchronize them
to your computer. Once the memos have been synchronized to your computer, you can open
them in the Palm Desktop for the 7135 Smartphone and in many word processors.

Creating memos

You can use your Kyocera 7135 smartphone to create several types of memos; including a text
message, a freehand doodle, or a voice message. A memo can contain up to 4,000 characters.
The number of memos you can store depends on how much free memory you have.

From the Applications screen, tap

to open Memos.

The Memos screen is displayed.

2.

Tap an existing memo to view it, or create a new memo by selecting one of the three options
at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Text

- Select this to create a type-written message. Use your stylus in the Graffiti area or

use the screen keyboard to write your message.

Doodle

- Select this to create a freehand message or drawing. Use the stylus to write in

freehand directly on your phone’s screen.
