6 | Function description
Editing the soldering profile in the [Profile management] tab and changing it permanently
– Input field with round arrow under the fan logo: hot-air blower speed. Config-
ure the blower speed with the small triangle-shaped buttons or select the
blower value and overwrite it. 100 % = maximum blower speed. A higher
blower value results in a somewhat reduced energy of the hot air.
– Vertical controller (top - bottom): Upper/lower heating performance ratio ex-
pressed as a percentage. Adjust the performance ratio according to the heat
requirements of your soldering process.
– Three input fields (%) lower heating: The lower heating is divided into three
areas, i.e. left, centre and right. Configure the area based on the heat require-
ments with the small triangle-shaped buttons under the input field or select
the heat value and overwrite it. In case of large PCBs, make sure that the entire
board is heated, so as to avoid delays.
Please remember that the components should not be heated as quickly as possible:
in fact, only a slow heating process can ensure an even temperature distribution.
This will ensure a safe process.
