Calibrate the pipette distances and the optical axle
5.2 Calibrate the pipette distances and the optical axle
Perform the following calibrations, after installing the Rework System in the work-
place foreseen.
Now calibrate the Rework System by performing the function [Start device setup]
for calibration of the pipette distances and the optical axle calibration process. Al-
ways perform the following functions:
– after the recommissioning of the Rework System
– after the new installation of HRSoft 2
– after relocating the Rework System.
After the commissioning of the HRSoft 2, you will be logged in as an administrator.
This is a prerequisite for performing the [Start device setup] function.
The [Username] and also the [Password] are registered under “Admin,“ please pay
attention to capitalization.
If the Administrator changes the [Password] or creates a new [Username], do not
forget the passwords entered, or note them down and keep them in a safe place.

a) Double-click the icon of the program [HRSoft 2] on the desktop.
b) Enter the Administrator name and password into the [Login window.
Note: There are two user classes: “Administrator“ and “Standard user.“ De-
pending on the user name and password entered, you will be assigned to one
of these classes. For this purpose, please also read Chapter The [user manage-
ment] tabulator [

If you highlight checkbox [Remember me], your user name will be already recorded
the next time you log in.
a) Acknowledge your entries by pressing the Enter key or by clicking the [LOGIN]
button.

The HRSoft 2 program starts. The Rework System and Rework processes
can be controlled via the HRSoft 2 program.
HRSoft 2 starts in the administrator mode and shows the tab [Rework].
