Removing and replacing the optional GPIB port

Disconnect the power cable and remove the top panel.

Remove the screw from the top edge of the chassis.

Pull the port out of the slot.

To replace the standard profile bracket with a V-Series Profile Bracket:
1
Remove the hex screws that hold the connector bracket and the standard
profile bracket by using a hex 9/32”, tightening torque 7.0 in/lbs screwdriver.

Replace the standard profile bracket with the V-Series Profile Bracket and
replace the screws.

NOTE
If you are replacing the GPIB port with a new one (82351B or newer), you will need to use a
V-Series Profile Bracket (54919-00105).
