5.15. Execution of Firmware Updates
We are always looking to include innovations of development in our products and to ensure their faultless
operation. Therefor regularly updates are released. To execute an update pay attention to the following steps.

Download and unpack the actual firmware version for the respective
device from the Kentix website.
You can find the firmware in the section „Download & Support“,
„Software and manuals“.

Log in to the web interface of your device and go to the section
„System“ -> „System functions“.

Always create a backup before starting with the update.
A firmware update is only possible after the creation
of a backup.
The configuration of the device will remain.

Now select the firmware file via the file dialog and start the update.
After a reboot the AlarmManager is up-to-date with
its complete configuration.
