Validator
– a piece of electronic equipment designed to accept and validate the authenticity
of Banknotes used in automated cash transactions and vending operations.
The validation process involves evaluating data received from Magnetic Sensors,
Optical Sensors, or a combination of both. Validation techniques are constantly
being improved in order to thwart the efforts of would-be Counterfeiters. Newer
validation technologies employ the use of CMOS photo-imaging Sensors to
