ANKNOTES
To retrieve recyclable Banknotes from within the
VEGA-RC, perform the following steps:
1. Check that the VEGA-RC Seven (7) Segment
Display is not indicating a Drum (Stacker) Empty
condition. If the VEGA-RC Seven (7) Segment
Display is not showing “00”, press the “
D
”
[
Retrieve
] Pushbutton while the VEGA-RC is in
the Stand-By Mode to enter the note “Retrieving
Mode” (See Figure 2-15).
2. Once the Seven (7) Segment Display indicates
the note “Retrieving Mode” is active, press the
“
D
” [
Retrieve
] Pushbutton again within 5 sec-
onds of its first pressing. The Seven (7) Segment
Display indication shown in Figure 2-16 will
appear and begin transferring recyclable Ban-
knotes from the VEGA-RC Drum (Stacker) to
the VEGA Unit’s Cash Box.
3. Once a recyclable Banknote is stored in the
VEGA Unit’s Cash Box, the Seven (7) Segment
Display will indicate the total number of recycled
Banknotes until the counter value equals one (1)
Banknote present; then it will begin to transfer
the next Banknote.
4. When the Seven (7) Segment Display indicates
“00”, the “Retrieving Mode” will end. If stopping
the operation before its completion is necessary,
press the “
A
” [
Change Display
] Pushbutton to
end the “Restore Mode” operation immediatly.

To dispense a recyclable Banknote from the
VEGA-RC Drum (Stacker), perform the following
steps:
1. Check that the VEGA-RC Seven (7) Segment
Display is not indicating a Drum (Stacker) Empty
condition by showing “00”. Press the “

” [
Dis-
pense
] Pushbutton when the VEGA-RC is in
Stand-By Mode, to enter the “Dispense Mode”
(See Figure 2-17). When “Dispense Mode” is
started, one (1) Banknote will be dispensed from
the VEGA Insertion Slot.
2. Once a recyclable Banknote is dispensed and
pulled out of the VEGA Insertion Slot, the Seven
(7) Segment Display will indicate the total
remaining number of the stored recycled Ban-
knotes still within the VEGA-RC Drum (Stacker)
and then returns to Stand-By Mode (See Figure
2-18).

ONTINUOUSLY
When continuously dispensing a recyclable Bank-
note from the VEGA-RC Drum (Stacker), perform
the following steps:
1. Check that the VEGA-RC Seven (7) Segment
Display is not indicating a Drum (Stacker) Empty
condition by showing “00”.
2. Press the “
B
” [
Dispense
] Pushbutton when the
VEGA-RC is in Stand-By Mode, to enter the
“Dispense Mode” (See Figure 2-19). When “Dis-
pense Mode” has begun, one (1) Banknote will
be dispensed from the VEGA Insertion Slot per
request.
3. Pull the dispensed Banknote out of the VEGA
Insertion Slot. The Seven (7) Segment Display
will then show the total number of the recycled
Bank-notes once the counter has reduced its
count by one (1) Banknote; then the next recy-
cled Banknote will be dispensed until one (1)
Banknote remains in the Drum (Stacker).
4. When the Seven (7) Segment Display flashing
sequence indicates “
00
”, the “Dispense Mode”
will end. If stopping the operation before its com-
pletion is necessary, press the “
A
” [
Change Dis-

] Pushbutton to end the “Restore Mode”
operation immediately.
