Stage screen 

This is used when a specimen holder is inserted in the microscope column.

SHIFT 

The 

 and 

 buttons shift the specimen in the X directions and the 

 and 

 buttons 

shift the specimen in the Y directions. The Z buttons shift the specimen in the Z 
direction. The amount of the specimen shift per step can be varied in the STEP 
boxes under the triangle buttons and the amount of the specimen tilt per step under 
the Z buttons. 

② 

TILT 

The X buttons tilt the specimen in the X directions and Y buttons in the Y directions. 
The Y tilts is impossible when a single tilt specimen holder is used. The amount of 
the tilt angle per step can be varied in the STEP box. The specimen can be rotated 
using these buttons when a specimen rotation holder is used. 

③ 

NTRL 

Used to neutralize the values in the selected box (XY, Z, TILT X and TILT 
Y/ROT).
