HANDLING SPRAYERS AND AGROCHEMICALS
We warn the owners and users that the UNREASONABLE USE of this sprayer and chemicals
it applies may cause damage to people, properties, animals and environment.
Read carefully and understand thoroughly this manual and the recommendations of
the chemicals manufacturers.
Follow strictly the instructions for proper use of this sprayer and chemicals to ensure more
safety and efficiency when spraying your crops.
AFTER SPRAYING
ATTENTION:
If there is chemical mixture remaining from the spraying, eliminate it on the
own crop or in a proper decotamination place.
- Avoid leaving chemical mixture residues in the tank. For the last pass, prepare the chemical
solution in enough quantity to spray the remaining of the crop;
- Disassemble and clean each nozzle assembly with fine brush, water jet or compressed
air ;
- Take off the individual protective clothing and wash it separately from other clothes.
GENERAL CARE
MAINTAINING THE SPRAYER
- Maintain your sprayer clean, lubricated and always ready to be used;
- During the use, wash regularly the sprayer to eliminate the dirt and the chemical accu-
mulated outside it, this will help the use of the sprayer and will keep the operator from
touching the tractor;
- When finishing every working day, fill up the tank with clean water and empity it through
the spray to eliminate chemical residue of components. Spray on the own crop or in a proper
decontamination place. Then, check and clean the nozzles;
- Prepare the sprayer to be stored during one crop and another. Wash the inside and outside
of the equipment with clean water and detergent.
- Repaint the damaged metallic parts to prevent corrosion.
- Replace all damaged and worn components.
- Lubricate all lubrication points of the sprayer.
- Spray the mettalic parts with a lubricating oil sto prevent corrosion.
- Store the sprayer in a place protected from the sum and the rain.
