MAINTENANCE
QUADRIJET NONDRIP QUADRUPLE NOZZLE HOLDER
- After prolonged use, it may be necessary to service the nondrip valve. Refer to the drawing and table below.
PROBLEM
CAUSE
CORRECTION
- Impurities on the diaphragm.
- Rupture of the diaphragm.
- Rupture of the diaphragm followed by
chemicals buildup.
- Nut (1) not tightened properly.
- Remove and clean the diaphragm
- Replace the diaphragm
- Replace the diaphragm and clean the
plunger assembly
- Tighten the nut (1).
Valve
does
not seal.
- Seal (2) missing.
- Seal (2) damaged.
- Nut (1) not tightened properly.
- Fit the seal (2).
- Replace the seal (2).
- Tighten the nut (1).
Leakage between
the core and nozzle
holder.
- Packing ring (3) missing.
- Packing ring (3) damaged.
- Part (4) not tightened properly.
Leakage through the
connection with the
spray tube.
- Fit the packing ring (3).
- Replace the packing ring (3).
- Tighten the bolts of the part (4).
Leakage through the
nozzle holder and
the nozzle (cap with
thread)
- Nut (5) not tightened properly.
- Base of filter (6) damaged.
- Tighten the nut (5).
- Replace the filter (6).
NOTE: Before starting to spray, disassemble and clean the plunger assembly.
NOZZLES
- Clean the nozzles daily or whenever there is a failure in the spray.
ATTENTION: The flat fan nozzle has
red seal made of a material subject to
crush to facilitate sealing.
Therefore the use of threaded nozzle
cap is not recommended.

Seal
Leakage through the
nozzle holder with the
nozzle.
- Quick fitting nut not fitted properly.
- Packing ring (7) damaged.
- Base of filter (8) damaged.
- Fit the quick fitting nut.
- Replace the packing ring (7).
- Replace the filter (8).
